The Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) is reviewing Dominion Energy’s rates, terms and conditions for generation and transmission infrastructure. This rate case is the first opportunity for Virginia to address the electricity rate structure for the largest concentration of data centers in the world.

Under the current rate structure, all Virginia ratepayers will pay for the energy infrastructure required by data centers. Without action, Virginia residents, small businesses and farmers will be left subsiding the richest tech companies in the world.
